T-mobile owe me money
My contract was due to end on 7 June so I rang up in May to say that I didn't want to renew and that I would be switching to Tesco PAYG. I spoke to somebody in retentions who did the necessary to start to close my account. I wanted my pac code so I asked whether I would have to ring up on the last day of my contract to get it. 'Oh no' the guy said, 'I'll give it to you now.' He read out my pac code to me and a couple of days later I received it in the post as well. Towards the end of May I received my bill which included a MNP Early Termination Penalty of £5.33. I was furious and spoke to another guy in retentions who told me that it was a mistake, I would get it refunded and that actually I was now out of contract and could go to Tesco straightaway. I waited until 7 June though before I transferred.
I have just received my final bill and I have not been refunded the £5.33. I rang the 0845 number which of course costs and got through to retentions. I was told there was no record of me being told I would get a refund. Luckily I had taken his name, so he is supposed to be ringing me back. We'll see if that happens. They are sooo cheeky! At no time was I told I would have to pay a charge for getting my pac code. If they had said then I would have done what I had originally planned and requested it on the last day of contract. I am not going to let them get away with this!
Nobody steals money off me.
