breaking a contract?
We recently signed up again for the same contract we have previously. An 18 monther.
Thing is, my hub has now started another job, so we don't use it anywhere near the amount we used to.
Is there any loophole that says you can withdraw from a mobile contract? We got new phones when we took the contract on again. If not, I'll have to suck it up but at £60 a month for the both of us that's a lot of sucking up to do.

No, there isn't. Depending on who the contract is with, you may be able to downgrade at various points.0

The contract is with Three. My husband holds the accounts, but he's not keen on ringing them and asking. I'm of the mind that if you don't ask, you don't get but they won't deal with meProud to be dealing with my debts :T

I'm in a similar position to you Hawthorn, except the other way around. I'm wanting to go onto a higher tariff but I am not allowed the one I want because its for new customers only apparently. Even though I am willing to give them more money. Yes anyway, before I hijack this thread, I'd like to break my contract too so I can start again, so if anyone has any ideas do let us know. In my experience three are extremely inflexible and unhelpful, so I doubt you'll have much luck.0

The only way around it for our situation is to start using the mobiles instead of using the house phone, thus cutting down on house phone bills. There won't be much difference, but if I save a fiver a month, that's £60 in our pocket instead of the comms companies at the end of the year
Thing that bugs me? We keep getting phone calls from Three asking if we're happy with our tariff? No we aren't, but they aren't changing it.Proud to be dealing with my debts :T
