Hi,
Not naff at all - now. I agree they used to be, but the latest ones are amazing. Visit Red Hot Plants website they have the best Artificial Hanging Baskets I have ever seen.0 -
And you registered to post that? Hmm - call me cynical but.......
Oh and by the way - they really really are naff!0 -
I cringe at the thought of it! Sorry but I too think that they look cheap, naff, tacky and horrid. Especially when someone has one in the house gathering dust, horrid.
I definately think you would be happier with some beautiful real ones and again, they don't have to be expensive. I get the seeds from wilkinsons and there are so many bargains out there! Good luck!0 -
In a nutshell? YES!!!!:D"there are some persons in this World who, unable to give better proof of being wise, take a strange delight in showing what they think they have sagaciously read in mankind by uncharitable suspicions of them"(Herman Melville)0

Yes.
And they get dirty, from dust and soil knocked up by the rain. So you have to wash them occassionally. And they fade in the sunlight over time. (Wot sunlight???) At least real flowers don't fade and they eat the dirt.
Better off with a nice piece of plain and tidy concrete than naff atrificial plants. But if you want to put something on top of a manhole cover, how about a bird bath? Or a sun dial?Val.0
