This looks like more than just maintenance, I'm actually getting page not found for some of my ebay pages. I'm just glad I've got nothing finishing tonight as I can't place bids either.
Also, I still haven't received paypal notices for my sales last night, nor end of auction emails on about half my sales. It makes keeping an eye on what is happening very difficult.

I have the same problem... you can ,however,access the items you are bidding on if you go through the links in your ebay emails. I have only just thought of this though and have missed out on an item I have been watching for 9 days ! Arggggghhh!I have had brain surgery - sorry if I am a little confused sometimes

Yes I got that last night at 9.30pm - right in the middle of an auction. So having a slower dial-up I lost the auction. Grrrrr - although not much as it did finish higher than i shoudl have gone. I wouldn't be surprised if it was the usual friday update, but the sunday madness has been better recently.Still wish I could buy a TARDIS instead of a house!0
