w880i sony ericsson problem

i have a problem with my w880i.
the screen has broke, and all the contacts are saved to the phone, not my sim, how can i get them off? is there a cable and program where i can go into the phone and retrieve them? have some important numbers i need asap really.

Do you know anyone else with the same phone? It sounds silly but you could follow their lead and copy each key press they make to copy the numbers over.

I might know some1 with the same phone, but am not sure how thatll work as my screen is black and wont light up or work at all.

My OH has a K850i and had same problem. After an argument with T mobile they eventually told him to go to the sony erricsson website and download the updates. (The updates work for all sony erricsson phones)

You download the update program onto your pc then from there plug the phone into the usb and follow the instructions to download onto phone.

I was very sceptical but it worked.

Now his phone works fine again. Very easy

I thought the Sony Ericsson PC Suite had the functionality to backup contacts off the phone. Do you have the USB Data Cable and the PC Suite software CD which shipped with the phone?
