Oh dear- £22 to last 9 days...

:o

And with the £22 we need nappies as well as food...

Any ideas for seriously cheap dinners please... Also any recommendations on cheap nappies- I usually use boots but the only way I can afford them this week is on my boots advantage card which I'm not sure you can do

How embarrassing!!!

Thanks in advance xx

you can use boot points for nappies or if you have an aldi or lidl nearby they do big packs of nappies (50 for £4.99) I use these and they're great.

Plenty of potatoes, eggs, cheese, bread, and baked beans meals. Pretend you are in the big brother house on rations and make it fun!

Thank you... I'm usually so good at budgeting but my brain has turned to mush!!! Don't think it helped that child benefit got paid in almost 2 weeks before it usually does!!!
I do have an aldi near by but I think it will work out better this time if I got babys nappies on my boots card so it frees up £5 to be spent on food :o

Plenty of pasta, Rice dishes, fried rice etc, that is one of my favourite quick meals anyway. Just boil a pan of rice, put in fridge to cool then the grains seperate, Then just soften some veg, mushrooms whatever in a wok add garlic, chilli whatever, to make it tasty then add the rice, toss till heated through.
