need some opinions please, have i done the wrong thing ??


im on month 15 of an 18 month contract with 3 , 600mins/75 texts, £15 p/m

my phone has stopped working properly and i really need a new one by the end of the month, 3 could only offer me whats available to new customers and as im after the sony ericsson W910i that would be £17 p/m 18 months starting in september !! :eek: and they were really quite rude when i turned down the offer of a worse phone for more money :rolleyes:

So, ive started a new Orange contract 75mins/150 texts £20 p/m 12months (£15 p/m with quidco) for the SEw910i


however, im paying more and orange are supposed to have no end of problems with this model.

shall i send it back and push for more discount with three


Please someone spoon feed me the answers as im too stupid to figure out whats best

From what you say ("ive started a new contract"), you are now bound by this new contract, and cannot just "send it back".

im not THAT stupid thanks, i dont actually get the phone until tomorrow, so whilst yes i have started a new contract, im still able to return it.

In that case, return it and start again.

You have a good deal currently, so maybe worth buying a cheap second hand one to keep you going until your 18 months are up.

At that time, 3 may up their retention offer - especially if you give in your notice to quit at the start of month 18!

thought you would say that, just received an email from orange stating the speakers they were offering are out of stock, they were worth £70 and came free with the phone. So im pretty sure i will return the phone now and look at 3 again !
