need any more?0 -
Sorry meester, I thought you meant through a UK based dealer with a physical presence, not ebay where tbh I'd be very reluctant to buy.
EDIT - OK if you know/ have previously dealt with the seller, I suppose.0 -
Hate to be a bit of a killjoy - but where are you going to keep them! Remember the cost of safes/security can cost more than the goods - needs a bit of thought!0

I see no reason why.
For instance the $435 half ounce AGW coin has $2000 paypal protection.
And the seller's history shows positive feedback on gold coins over $1000 stretching back six years.
I'd be 100% confident buying that.0 -

I'd not bother personally for £2k. I'd check my home insurance policy first, and potentially change it to one that would cover it.
I know that the insurers have different rules for 'money' from normal possessions, so I would clarify 100% upfront what it would be classed as, and ensure it is properly insured. It needn't cost you anything to insure them on top of the cost of a normal home possessions policy.0 -
I've used coininvestdirect.com before to purchase some coins - the coins themselves seem to come from Germany but are sent via UPS so secure enough.Mortgage when started October 2011 : £94,134

And coininvestdirect.com track the price of gold & silver 'to the second', so they claim.0

Wow, Thanks for all the great advice. That's given me plenty to look into.
CheersI say what I like, I like what I say!0 -

All that means is you'll never get a bargain. They are charging on krugerrands it seems 3.7% above spot (cheaper than buying their bullion), PLUS €15 shipping.
Which is not bad, but certainly beatable0
