I've had excellent customer service from the UK call centre, everyone I've talked to was very knowledgeable and friendly. However if the call is routed to India then everything is not so rosy. Even if you can forgive the bad line and the accents, they are simply not as clued up and it takes 3 times as long to get something done.
I've found that I get through to the UK call centre almost every time if I call in the mornings.0 -

Hey Dave, that is a bit drastic like self mutilation.
I would go back again when it suited me to do so and I could see some potential advantage for myself. I would learn from my mistake and apply a bit in advance of my need for their card.
