Philnicandamy,
Just to say, sorry to see you go, but fully understand why you are leaving. I would like to thank you from the bottom of my heart for all the invaluable help you’ve given to me in the past.
All the best to you and your family and I hope you go on to have a better life
Thanks once again.0 -
So sorry to see you go.
I am a fairly new poster to these boards and even though I am not BR or in debt, I have found the advice you have given absolutely vital in advising my brother on how to proceed with his debts after a relationship break up.
Hope your life and health improves and enjoy your time away from here....it really isn't healthy eh?

All three boys have graduated, it's been hard work but it shows there is a possibility of a chance of normal (ish) life after a diagnosis (or two) of ASD. It's not been the easiest route but I am so glad I ignored everything and everyone and did my own therapies with them.

Hi phil,
just wanted to say, as others have already said, I personally will miss your very knowledgable and valuable posts and the feeling of familiarity that you have brought to the board which makes it feel like a safe place to be. That said, I totally understand your reasons for leaving, thank you so much, and I wish for you everything that you wish for yourself. Good Luck.

Very good luck for the future, but as you are obviously feeling down at the moment,I hope you will continue to seek support from whereever you feel is appropriate.
I only joined a short while ago and have learnt so much, but also found myself sitting for hours. Then my electricity blew to all my media appliances including TV and pc,phone etc and for 5 days me and my kids rediscovered conversation! I have therefore limited myself to a short period on here a day catching up since then.
Even in my short time I have had some nasty messages, even though I try not to be judgemental-I am very quick to apologise if I feel I have offended but I have bit my tongue several times in the last few days rather than risk inviting a smacking,so I understand your reference to the 'troll'.
I am sure many on here have benefited so much from your generous advice and support and hope the future improves beyong recognition for you.Tomorrow is always fresh, with no mistakes in it!0 -

Just wanted to say many thanks for all your help over the past months, you were very helpful and sympathetic and ready with the much needed advice when I needed it (although if you *do* know how to hold onto a 52 bed mansion that I don't have, I'd love to know :P).
Sorry to see you go for selfish reasons, but happy that it probably will make you a happier person, I know this place can be totally toxic sometimes.
Best of luck and hope life just gets better and better for you, you deserve it imho.

Sorry to see you go Phil in one way, as you were one of the first people to help me last year when I joined! Thankyou for ALL your help in the past , I am truly grateful
I wish you all the best for the future , personal and financial !
I totally understand what you mean about the changes to this forum , I have certainly noticed the change since I joined last year! I cant help but say the changes are not for the best either! Probably get a good tongue lashing for saying but the current 'tone' on this board, I think, makes light of the situation that is BR! For others , with debt problems, looking in, I can see where maybe they might think that BR is no big deal, but it IS and was in my experience, still is to that matter.
I pulled myself back from posting here a few months back, although I still read everyday, sometimes I comment, sometimes I dont, but I make a point of thinking about what I write now. I can't and won't condone(not that it's my place to) some of the 'advice' that is sometimes given, and I find some posts dam outrageous to say the least. Not having you around will be such a huge loss to this board!
The people you mentioned in your post do a fantastic job of saying it how it is and how it SHOULD be!
They are ,BLTN,FERMI,RICH,BLIND AS A BAT,MADOLDBAT (although not around much now?) ROG2 and WDIAG. Everyone of you helped to keep me going through one of the toughest times I've experienced. I thank you all for that fantastic advice!!!!!0
