    Hi Everyone,

Day 2 of my 'lets improve life' self motivational course, so posting on here.

    Today I have/will do:
    • Had breakfast at home (well actually enjoying the sunshine in the garden this morning)
    • Daily clicks
    • Checked my online banking
    • Checked for an update on Quidco
    • Took lunch into work
    • Will have an early night tonight
    • Had yet another interview this evening after work (6pm ) ~ I am actuially staring to loose faith in my own abilities I keep on getting the standard response.....you were pipped to the post by someone with a bit more experience .
    • Was planning a NSD, but there were 2 birthday collections doing the rounds. Was going to put in 50p to each, but I had to leave the money on people's desks = £1 X 2 = £2
Cleosmum: I know how you feel, awful isnt it. You will get better. Take care of yourself

Andan: Hope the exam went well

Think that is about it, take care everyone

Well done on staying smoke free CG, was wondering how you were doing.:T :T :T

Thanks for thinking of me... it has been a little easier than I remember it to be and I attribute this to having some crystal therapy/ healing with a friend. I know it sounds weird, but I feel quite relaxed about not smoking and do not spend time thinking about fags like I have when I quit in the past.

Again, cheers for thinking of me!

PS NVQ on back burner for tonight, paid work takes 1st place - planning for training day tomorrow... been doing it all day and am slightly bored of it, but needs doing!

    :heartpuls CG :heartpuls
Ever wonder about those people who spend £2 apiece on those little bottles of Evian water? Try spelling Evian backward.

:D Have been waiting for you to update your no smoking sig, didn't want to put pressure on you if you hadn't managed to keep it up;) ;)
I have a friend who is involved in crystal therapy, reiki, aromatherapy etc , its really interesting. My dad was even offered (and had) reiki when he was in hospital getting over a major op. I think more and more use is being made of alternative therapies these days.:D

Candy, good luck with the interview, hope you get some good news soon.x
  • Hi everyone,

Andan, hope the exam went well.
CG, good on you with the quitting smoking, I found that accupuncture helped loads (even though I am officially a sceptic as I work in a hospital and like everything to have scientific evidence!!!). Keep up the good work, you should be proud of yourself!
Cleosmum, Good luck with controlling that hayfever, throw everything at it! I'm still only on level 2 (tablets and eye drops) of my 3 level attack approach (still have nasal spray to add when it gets bad!) and keeping fingers crossed it doesn't get any worse!
Candy, hope the interview went well. I'm sure you will get your perfect job if you are patient, don't lose faith, the job is out there somewhere and you want to make sure it is the perfect job, not just any job!!

    Today I have/will
    - lunch at work from stuff bought on Monday
    - rang Oyster and got £8 refunded for doing the right thing and trying to touch in when the gates were open so they charged me to 2 incomplete journeys.
    - shopping at Primark for much needed clothes - I now have socks coming out of my ears, but 7 pairs for £2, I couldn't say no!!!!
    - bought a gym ball so that I can increase my options for exercise at home and save on gym membership
    - gotta do surveys and comps tonight while watching the holland Euro 2008 game

Thats about it, hope everyone is enjoying this beautiful evening!

Evening all (although it's only 3:55pm here)

Cleosmum: Hope you are feeling better

Andan: Hope the exam went well

CG: Well done - keep it up!

    My dfw things for today:
    • Found $0.01:p
    • Victoria Secrets - got a bright pink soft towel housecoat reduced to about £13. Asked for a couple of pretty carrier bags.
    • Got trainers for me and DS £11/12 (reduced of course) for both pairs.
    • Went to some dollar shop (most things were a dollar - not everything). Got plasters $1, tub of unbranded vaseline $1, Starbucks decaf coffee $2, big bag of mini snickers (expiry date was last month so probably why only $1), 2 x cup noodles for $1 and 2 x boxes of 10 strawberry flavour milk straws for $1.
    • Found 1 token for those arcade games DH and DS were playing
    • Claimed stickers, 1 x chew and some cheap plastic frog with the 34 points DH and DS got playing games
    • Had above cup noodle for lunch rather than spend money at the mall
Everything is so expensive here (apart from the Dollar store(s) so money isn't really going a long way. A prepacked bag of apples here cost $4.99 (plus tax). When you buy apples individually they cost about $1 each. Much prefer supermarket shopping back in the UK!

They don't have any cheap sparkling water here either - I think it's about $1.80 pre tax for a 1 or 1.5 ltr bottle. None of the 17p 2 ltr bottles I'm use to buying.

Anyway catch up with everyone later.
    Tesco points: 101 (£21.50, £19.50, £7.50, £21 & £5)

Thanks guys for the good luck, think my exam went well, better than i anticipated, although my hand was throbbing and am actually shattered now!

Claireabelle, sorry to hear about you OH's bike, what a shame.

Cleosmum, hope the hay fever eased off.

Candy, hope the interview went well, hope you find a new job soon.

Other than that, i have done a mystery shop today, whilst killing time before my exam. Have also picked up two more mystery shops and enquired about an audit.

Am off to go write up my mystery shop report then get details of the mystery shops for tomorrow before crashing in bed! Have a great evening everyone.
