    Thanks. I forgot that one.
Anyway, in the event it turned out he is 2nd hand.

A bloke over 40 who isn't 2nd hand in some way might be a little bit odd, though?

    I'm over 40 and not 2nd hand.
    Ergo, I'm odd.
    :)
    Guilty.

Maybe not 2nd hand now, but at some point in the past? Anyway, I covered myself by saying "might be"... I'm not a lawyer for nothing, I'll 'ave yer know!

No. No point in my past.
Never even shacked up. I'd have never been able to look my mum in the eye if I had and nobody asked anyway.

It just wasn't the done thing when I was young. And as things changed, I didn't.

No, you're not a lawyer for nothing... you charge way too much :)

    And straight (-:
oh, he's straight - for sure.
straight into the pub after work.
    straight on to the pc.
    telling me straight.

in fact, the only time he isn't being 'straight' is when he's on the phone to his friends in belgium and insists on talking in dutch/zuidnederlands or whatever he calls it - even though his friends all speak english.keeps mentioning 'jersey'
and 'restaurants' and something about a 'lekker ding'.

    weird.
