I think you are wiser to lower your payments if you don't mind me having an opinion, there had to be a reason why you used your overdraft so a more realistic budget and a tad longer to me seems the way to go!0

I have never done a CCCS remedy you have me curious now! I may just go along... see whether I am doing it right lol0

hi ym, glad you sound a bit more positive today.
If you want to carry on a DMP then do that, if you don't own your home and it won't influence your job prospects then you can just keep bankruptcy in mind if anything goes wrong in future (that's my theory at the moment).
Whatever you decide, hope you get it sorted out.working on clearing the clutterDo I want the stuff or the space?0 -
Try again ray it done that with me first time.

I did it again and knocked out a few outgoings and it let me go through this time apparently I qualify for a low start DMP if I do it myself or sell my house, and they included a template letter to give creditors about it :O
So I suppose Offiicially I am a low start self administered DMPer!0 -
Rayday, they stopped adding interest but still keep hassling us with various threats. I know it's done to try and get more money so I don't worry about it too much. MBNA are exactly the same, stopped interest but still hassling. The best creditor has been Capital One. We don't have a peep from them, just monthly statements.*Official DMP Mutual Support Club Member No 147**Official DFW Nerd Club Member No 923*I have no idea what I'm talking about!0

GE Money now referred onto CL FInance have been my best, I am tempted to bump them up to contractual payments, well toying with the idea then I can keep my cahoot account and A&L ones. I need a cheque book and none of the basic accounts I looked at offer one. Decisions, decisions!0
