Mobile Phone Insurance Refund!

I've realized I've been paying for insurance on a long canceled t-mobile contract (with the Carphone Warehouse) - I've now canceled the policy, and am interested in whether I can get a refund.

Does anyone have an experience or advice about this? Any comments would be much appreciated!

I know it's a bit of a long shot, and I've been foolish to assume that canceling the contract with the network would cancel the insurance. But I've heard others in this forum and elsewhere talk of refund packs from Carphone Warehouse (and CW, unlike most reputable insurers, has never contacted me with confirmation of renewal, or any other literature relating to the policy).

I had a similar issue, they eventually refunded my policy payments twice over :j however it took 3 months to get the refund, they are so tedious to deal with, all my communcation went via the lifeline 'contact us' section on the CPW website.

Good luck but don't hold your breath - I'm waiting to see how quick they want the overpaid money back from me,I'm guessing they'll be on the case as technically I owe them even though it was their mistake, come and get it CPW its here for you!
