I know Kaspersky is a legit anti-virus comapany but i have never use it, even a trial version. So why they charging me 36 pounds? And where did they get my details to do that???

If you haven't trialled it, then perhaps you're a victim of ID theft. Even trialling Kaspersky, they don't ask you for any credit card details until you decide to buy from them at the end of the trial. Then and only then do they ask for credit/debit card details.
  • kaspesky is a legit anti virus,we bought ours a week ago from pc world for £19.99 as its on special offer, and i think is a very good one, warns you for everything
did you get your money back?
  • I saw that my credit card had a pending charge for $239.00 by Kaspersky Arvato. I called my bank and told them I did not recognize the charge and they replied that I must wait until the charge has actually been cleared before I could dispute the charge. I then called Kaspersky Arvato and they were very helpful; someone using my card number was trying to but a 10-chair site license for their software. They stopped the transaction...ordered by "USsteel.org"

people sell kaspersky licenses very cheaply on ebay .
This may be a part of that kind of thing .
Kaspersky is very good anti virus software and I think contacting kaspersky as well as your bank would be usefull as it surely can't be in their interest to have potential customers being scammed .
They have a UK web site I have added a link to

Kaspersky-Arvato is a legit company. I recently purchased a license from Kaspersky UK and also had "Arvato" come up on my statement.

No need to worry Arvato is the vendor Kaspersky UK use to sell products on their behalf. If you give the guys at Kaspersky UK a call, they'll be able to confirm that this company is an official partner:

If you want to contact Arvato directly then take a look at the details under the heading "Customer Support Services" here (note that the 00800 is an international number, but there is a UK number listed too):

    http://www.kaspersky.co.uk/tech_support

Finally, here are the terms and conditions from Kaspersky UK website regarding buying products through Arvato

Kaspersky is a legit company as is Arvato. Its likely that you have unknowingly (or someone you know like husband/brother/sister with access to the card) bought a Kaspersky product or you are a victim of card fraud, where someone has used your card details to buy a license from the site.

    Hope this helps.
