Has anyone ever heard of this company I have looked online and it seems as if this is a German firm that deals with anti-virus software. I had a credit card payment taken from my account on the 27.5.08 of £85 or so by this company and I have been in touch with my bank and they said it was on that date at 8.25pm in the evening. I do buy things online from time to time but I cant remember this and I certainly haven't received anything in the post. Please can anyone help.

Tell your bank the payment wasn't authorised by you."You were only supposed to blow the bl**dy doors off!!"0

I agree with Maninthestreet. Ring up your credit card comapny and tell them you did not do or authorise the transaction. There is a set procedure for this and as you have used a credit card you have legal rights. The credit company should pursue Karpersky, who will have to justify the transaction. Chances are that if goods were purchased, they were not sent to your address. I believe they are a legitimate firm. Looks like someone has scammed your details for a "card not present" fraud. you also urgently need to speak to your credit card company as you will need a new card0

sorry i've only just got back to you, I have been in touch with the bank and they have sent me a form to fill in to refund the money etc. I have had to get a new debit card. Thanks for your advice. I did e-mail Kaspersky Arvato to ask exactly what it was I was supposed to have purchased but they never even got back to me.0

I've discovered the exact same thing has happened to me only the figure is less £36. Call the bank and they tried to sell me some extra fraud cover, £6.99 a month  no thanks i've already been ripped off today thanks you. I have to wait and fill out the disclaimer form OP mentioned. Check your statements everyone, seems this 'Kaspersky Arvato' could be doing the roundsHas anyone ever heard of this company I have looked online and it seems as if this is a German firm that deals with anti-virus software. If it helps, when i run a virus scan with spybot search & destroy, one of the viruses it blocks is called 'kaspersky labs'. Not sure if this means anything but it could be a dodgy company. Good luck with it.I'm not a gynecologist but I'll certainly take a look!:D0

Kaspersky is a Russian anti-virus firm. Don't know where the Arvato comes in.
We trialled Kaspersky earlier on this year after our PC got invaded by a virus (we were running McAfee at the time). We were so impressed by it that we took out the licence for 3 PCs, costing £51.
We haven't had a single virus since and no spyware. I knew for a long time that we had viruses running around in our main PC but could never find them or get rid of them. We knew they were there because our PC kept doing funny things on it's own and often would run really slow. Kaspersky found nearly 400 viruses on it's first scan. It's fun deleting the viruses - they scream:rotfl:
I'm just wondering if the Kaspersky-Arvato anti-virus is nothing to do with Kaspersky at all but scammers using that name.
I think also (but would stand corrected if I'm wrong), PCWorld are including Kaspersky with their new PCs now instead of McAfee or Norton.0 -

Today's Sunday Times computer supplement recommended the use of Kaspersky . So this product seems to be legit. What part of "A whop bop-a-lu a whop bam boo" don't you understand?0

I know Kaspersky is a legit anti-virus comapany but i have never use it, even a trial version. So why they charging me 36 pounds? And where did they get my details to do that???0
