dear people from wednesday bradford and bingley launches this account, and this replaces issue 2.its on moneyfacts now.

INTERNET SAVER Issue 3 launched paying an increased w.e.f. 18.6.08: a no notice internet operated account with a minimum investment of £1 paying 6.51% yearly (6.32% monthly).
Underlying rate guaranteed to at least equal Base Rate to 1.1.10. Transactions via nominated account. Initial deposit by cheque or transfer from nominated account.

Couldn't be arrissed - moved out of B&B instant stuff a while back, they seem to bring out a new account with improved rates/old account with dropped rates every few weeks (and if you don't do the "Bodgit shuffle" has to go out to your bank then back in).
Investec (and Saga if you're an old git) do "top 5" accounts where they pay the average of the top 5 payers (surprise!). Also the Coventry had (and maybe still have) decent instant accounts, again mainly for oldies.0 -
