Booked 7 Nights Holiday Only get 6 Nights?

This is completely normal. It isn't a scam.
The room is yours from midday the day before you leave. When you get there your room will be available for you. Then midday the day before your flight you have to vacate. Sometimes you can pay for a late check out but that isn;t usually much later than 5 in the afternoon. Obviously if they have a spare room you may be allowed to book that for a whole day.
It is because of the odd flying times you have. It used to happen to us when we flew locally from a small local airport and is why we often went to London instead aswe couldn't afford the supplements for flying at reasonable times. I would only book these things when very cheap. I hope you got a good deal!0 -
This is always one to be very careful with package holiday operators, and also flight+hotel deals on expedia and similar.Posts are not advice and must not be relied upon.0

Still think its a scam thou.
They cannot sell that room to anyone else for the night if you are coming in at 6:30 to use it, so it quite clearly isn't a scam as the room has been reserved for your use.
It's unfortunate that the flight times don't allow 24 use of the room, but if you didn't like that you shouldn't have bought the package.
Check more carefully next time, but it's very rarely that flight times work out perfectly.

I saw the deal on the Internet. 7 nights in Ibiza, dates where 8th June to the 15th June. Not 7th June to the 14th June.
But as some people have mentioned I will be very careful from now on and will check more carefully next time. Also I wouldn't have got the package if I had been told.
Thank you for all the replys,
Farquar

Errr, yes - I already said I have, as have others.
Are you asking this so that you can complain (as per your OP)? Personally I wouldn't bother - you haven't got anything to complain about other than the fact that you did not bother to check your flight times before you proceeded with your holiday booking

Many will have experiences like this but what is the point in them going over the same old ground. It's normal. The fact you didn't know that and wouldn't have booked is irrelevant as it's your job to check the flight times and day and read the terms and conditions.0

That looks like you've booked the wrong one to me.It's taken me years of experience to get this cynical0 -
No it wasnt , he did fly out on the 8th and returned on the 15th. The dates for the hol are the dates you fly, which was correctReggie_Rebel wrote: »That looks like you've booked the wrong one to me.0
