Just been to top up this years ISA allowance and was unofficially told that it may be closing soon. Anyone heared anything to the contrary???
It may be that those who already have this ISA in place and have not got the maximum in, may not be able to top it up and get the £3600 in for this years allowance.

Think you mean the 5% Fixed Rate ISA the 6.5% rate, for £9k plus, was withdrawn in April for new accounts.

Yes, agreed it was closed to new accounts. What about those that have an account going now, 08/09 and opened before the closing date, with a lower than £3600 balance hoping to top it up this year and recieve the 6.5% on all money to be deposited. OR have I missed something?0

The contract was for twelve months, not until they decide to withdraw the product.
The Ts & Cs (Para 7) oblige them to personally notify you, at least 30 days in advance, of any change to the Ts & Cs which is your disadvantage.
Mind you, as I'm currently embroiled in a dispute with LTSB, who have lost over £13.5k of my Cash ISA funds which were transferred to them in March, nothing would surprise me.0 -
if you opened the account by 11 April and have not put in all of this years allowance you can add the balance upto £3600Yes, agreed it was closed to new accounts.
