People seem to be talking about the '20 free texts' treat, but i did it by text instead if phoning up, (see here)
http://www.o2.co.uk/joiningtreats
and i got 100 free texts!
There is a '50 calls' option and another one aswell.
Just thought i'd mention it.
I've gone for the 50 calls option as I mainly text but never go over the 300 free a month anyway so I'll be able to call people a bit more now.

Huh me being stupid again, I got a text from O2 last month saying about the above offer, I thought it was just another one of the many scam texts I get from people trying to get me to reply to the text which ends up putting £'s on my bill, so I just deleted it. Looks like I've lost out then, mind you I'm still scheptical that it may end up costing in the end if you forget to cancel they may start charging for the extra bolt on stuff etc who knows I'm just an old synic lol0

I bought a Sim card cost me £5, I've had the free £2.50 call time and also got Call 50 free for 3 months and the reward of 10% of my top ups every three months. I did put on £10 to start with as you must have credit to get the free 3 months Call 50. Still £25 worth of calls for £15 is'nt bad, and its a cheaper tariff than my old one.
Thanks for posting this information0 -

A one-off treat is nice. One-every-single-month is nicer still.
Welcome to O2 Treats. A little something for O2 customers* to enjoy, month after month after month after month.
It couldn't be easier to use O2 Treats. Just call free on 2211 to choose your treat from free texts, minutes and more. It's really that simple.
And because they're free, you may want to do something you've not tried before with your calls or texts when you get them. Why not phone for a cup of tea from your bedroom? Or text your mates to wish them a very happy Tuesday? Whatever makes you happy.
*Customers must have been with O2 for six months to take advantage. New customers can register in advance.
If you are a new customer (i.e. less than 6 months) check out http://www.o2.co.uk/joiningtreats

Official insert
O2 customers can bag a free three-month trial on one of the extra services below. O2 offers this in the hope that you will forget to cancel the service and they can keep billing you for it.
*100 messages each month
*250 off peak minutes to landlines and O2 phones each month
*50 anyone minutes each month
You get the deal by texting a code to a special number (all listed at http://www.o2.co.uk/treats ). The offer runs until 10 Jan 06 and you need to have been with O2 for at least six months.
But don't foget to cancel when three months is up or you will wind up being charged. O2 says you have to cancel at least 72 hours before your payment is due (best check the exact date when you sign up).
How do you cancel?
Thanks

Just thought I's warn any O2 users to scrutnise their bills.
I have been charged for the 20 any network anytime minutes, which were suppose to be a 'treat'.
After a long argument on the blower to O2 they have promised to credit the charges on my NEXT bill.
We'll see..................0 -
I think this is probably a one off mistake as I don't think anyone else has had any problems0
