I did have to see the judge (assistant district judge) she was fine though and friendly .. made me say goodbye to her though as i tried to skulk out of her room :D

You could try googling the number? some websites like whocallsme may have it listed then you can see who the company is and what people have to say about them? on the other hand as your going bankrupt do you really need to bother? ;)

I like to skulk, thanks for the tip. :rotfl:

Well I tried that website, very interesting! One of my creditors is MBNA but the comments on there are interesting.

Well, its been my first week in quite a while of not thinking about my BR 24/7 and its been quite nice. Thought I would take this week off, next week I would make sure everything is ready, and then I have til the Thursday, the week after that, so I can make sure I won't be running around like a headless chicken up until the last minute. That's the plan, anyway. :D

Got another letter from Abbey yesterday reminding me I had forgotten to pay them this month.....don't like these letters but I am filing them together, and I know I just have to get through the next 2 weeks. The letter mentioned that company that rung me the other day, 0870 number, said I was to ring them. I think not!

OH's salary and all the remaining DDs have now been changed over to come out of OH's bank account from the end of this month and we need to top up the BR fee, when he gets paid, then roll on 3rd July!

When I go through my forms with a fine toothed comb next week, I am sure I might have the odd question, hope you don't mind. :D

I'm too organised, its worrying me, that means I must have forgotten something!:rotfl:

Halifax, who I have my current account with and they are also a creditor, send me a new credit card through yesterday! I have maxed that card already...nice of them.

Oooh, I have a question - which board shall I put it in? OH just rang me and his 80 year old unwell, housebound gran, has just received a leccy bill for £800! She thinks she has not been sent a bill for a year (her hubby would deal with all the bills and he passed away last year). I need to get some info for her on what she should do and who she should call so she doesn't get herself worked up and even more ill. :(

Really not too sure about the leccy bill i'm afraid.

Who's her supplier? could try this if a customer and no joy with the actual supplier http://www.edfenergytrust.org.uk/

They might be able to help lessen the "burden"

    Hi Summer,

Its amazing how much more organised you'll become during this period. I've got all my letters filed and in clear plastic pockets so i can find them easily when required..just feels a bit weird as im not usually that organised at all..

Hope all goes well with the BR day and remember we are here to help with any queries no matter how small you may think they are.

RE the OH's Mum and her leccy bill. It may be best to speak to them directly and try explaining the situation re her hubby and see what they say. You never know they may be 'human' at the other end!?

Also maybe put a query on the utilities board regarding the bill and see if anyone has any advice with regards to the exact supplier.

hope it gets sorted for her, You dont need her getting Ill or stressed during this time for you either

hehe im not organised at all ive just stuffed the debt letters all together in a folder, even some of the letters are still unopened LOL, ill sort em if the OR needs them not going to sort em for the OR to say "dont need them". And if they dont im gonna shred em.

The most current letters may give better figures for the BR papers..not going to make much difference i suppose but may be easier for the OR if you have the most upto date info for them, Dates, figures etc and ref no.s

but i know what you mean, as soon as im told that they have all the paperwork they need to close or complete the file its gonna be one hell of a BBQ in my back garden...lol..so many letters!!:rotfl:

Also the letters tell you which dca the debt is with, which could assist the OR a bit.
