Wol2 ... hey, sorry to hear that things did not work out as you may have hoped - but they will - just give it time, ok.

Meanwhile ... setting aside my earlier rather flippant posts, i thought something maybe a bit more positive might help, ok.

So ... the above painting was done with just one hand and a series of clicks, and maybe from time to time you might like to try it - just maybe a bit of positive therapy.

But - what I was also hoping is that other MSE'rs might also like to join in and offer their own paintings - lol, knowing the members - it could become quite an art gallery.

    How?

    Use this link:

    Anyways - keep smiling, ok!

    Hi MF

Thanx for thinking of me. Had a bit of a bad day today....reality just hit..... but your post is really helpful to put things into perspective.

    Hugs to you

    Hi guys

Lots of tears today as reality starts to sink in.

First day of new regime...so first thing...Bubbles please note.....decided to "de-stink" my hand/arm. Went well...except realised extent of immobility.

Then...my cunning plan which I started to implement yesterday started going tits up.
    a) my driver hired for meeting at my house with builder etc next tuesday didn't ring back to confirm time of availability and hence had builders/surveyor/flood protection people badgering me for time of meeting all morning. In th end I had to ring drivers parents and ask that they contact me:o
    b) Psyched up to rehome piggies...no joy from RSPCA (been trying for 48 hours)..and my nearest rescue centre was extremely agressive and rude
..no way my lovely piggies are going to them...even though I offered to pay for neutering...she then said it was too far for her to come (all of 30 mins drive).
    c) Hand swelled dramatically today...having given it blanket bath etc as above...(because it stank....Bubbles note again the re-iteration please...I am following your advice:rotfl: :rotfl: )...and given full inspection by owner for first time. No movt in ring/middle fingers. No nerve sensation in ring/middle fingers right down to knuckles and thenceacross rest of hand. Very painful...but luckily no sign of infection....yet!! So rang hospital dept and was promised call back...guess what...no call back . Trying desperately to be positive about this. (about hand condition....burrger the lack of call back..thats par for the course I think)
d)Expenditure today: £210 car tax; £140 drugs for piggies to treat whole colony for mites...plus..cages to be stripped and bleached this weekend so all my hard work last tuesday gone to waste...and another £30 in sawdust and bedding plus cost of helpers...plus weekly shopping..£100..
(Well needed special stuff owing to one handed conditon...brushes to get into arm pit...moist wipes...sharp scissors to open packaging....etc etc)

    So...The POSITIVE BITS TODAY ARE:
My dependable local friend took me shopping..
My dependable distance friend called and offered a solution to driving prob :T
Ginger will allow me to feed him his antibiotics one-handed.
Two great DFW'S brought a smile to my face with their texts/phone calls today:A
My first ever boyfrend replied to my email of 4 weeks ago...they were apparently really seriously ill...but the treament has worked,...and they are still with us :T :T :T

    AND.......I now have a glass of wine..:D

So guys and gals... bit of a pisder of a day..I had a light at the end of the tunnel 4 weeks ago...and suddenly it's gone again.....but I'm still here...just...and going to bed soon.

Thanx so much all of you...I may seem strong....but I have my moments like anyone else. ...like today.

Hugs to all..dont let the turkeys get you down.

    Love
