I have been very happy with pigsback, I have had keyrings, post it notes, a mousemat and have just ordered a cd from CD Wow. All this for clicking a few times a day. I do appreciate that some people have had problems but I just wanted to say that as far as freebies go I am very impressed.
    Thank you pigsback

Thursday's crossword solution is here at last. I must say, I find 13 Across rather offensive (given the clue).

LOL, hope you aren't French then?!

No, I'm British, Yorkshire-born, and proud of it.

But I do live in France. I'm hypersensitive to racial slurs, having been a teacher all my life and dealing with racism all the time, on and off, and I hate to see things like "frog-bashing" headlines in The Sun, etc. It's a weak spot of mine. :o

Yes, read1, what are the grounds for this conclusion?

  • Ah, come on don't be so PC. To look at that as a racial slur is to miss the actual important issues to do with racism.

Pigsback's site is full of cheeky humour, I really can't see any harm in it, just the same as I wouldn't be offended if the answer was les rosbifs, kiwis, poms, yanks etc

    1. Please don't tell me how to behave or think. Be nice to other MSE-ers.

    2. I did say it was a weakness of mine. I accept the implication of your last sentiment.

    3. What is the difference between, say, "frog" and "paki"?

    4. I see it not as a question of so-called "political correctness" (an unfortunate phrase which can be scoffed at, and thus appears to give people the right to be impolite), but merely one of courtesy and tolerance.

    5. This is not the forum for this kind of debate, and I shall make no more contributions here on this theme. There are other fora on this board for these debates, but regrettably I don't have time to read them all, despite the fact that I would love to!

This is a huge topic for debate, and I have already deleted a lot of words in my last post on this, and from this one!! :)

Let's just have fun with Pigsback!!

Absolutely none as far as I can see as Pigsback have clearly stated in the fourms that they WILL be back before Christmas

Let me just say I wasn't telling you how to behave, it was a turn of phrase! and I was being nice, it's not like I was getting angry about it, just having some jovial fun. :-)
