I've got hands like shovels & eat porridge for breakfast:D . So even I've gone through a few in my time.

So it works then Jockster? I've just told my OH about it as we're about to have a WC fitted in the house we're renovating and it's an all-in-one (as in not a separate cistern) and the pan bit goes back quite a long way. There seems to be enough room to get your hands round the back (unless maybe you're Popeye the Sailor) but you wouldn't be able to see what you're doing.

Aye, they work OK, especially for back to wall pans on modular furniture they work A1. They will break if you overtighten tho'.

So no porridge for breakfast for hubby that day:D
Nothing is easy........'til you find out how!

    back to wall pans

Ah, that's the terminology then. I really must get up to speed on these things, do-dah, wotsit and thingy are wearing a bit thin around here :rotfl: Plus, of course, I can always blame it on my age/sex/lack of technical knowledge as my talents lie in other directions :D

You should be able to buy a bracket kit for the loo seat if you know its make, your local plumbers merchant should be able to sort you out.

    or get some stainless nuts
  • Hi,

while you're at it bung these on, and cut the threaded rod down a bit, you don't need it so long, oh and smear the threads with vaseline when finished, helps prevent them rusting up with the steam, just incase you have to take it off again.

Note, I am not the seller, or associated, just that I bought something similar over a year ago, and seat hasn't moved, there will be other sellers.
