Do any of your gorgeous ladies/gents know if I can use my Advantage card points for gift vouchers or is that a no no?
Also, when you get one of those mailings that says 500 extra points when you spend £30 etc, does it have to be money that is spent or can I use my points?
Cheers my dears.
No you cant use points to buy gift cards.
You cant pay with points when you are using vouchers of any kind either. So yes you would have to spend £30 in cash to get the 500 points.Bringing up 2 handsome boys and 1 gorgeous girl the MSE way!Joseph born 19th December 2001Matthew born 8th August 2007Tara born 23rd January 20110 -

Hi complete and utter newbie here, so sorry for being dense lol but how do you get UG dazzling shine for 9p? I was in boots yesterday and trying to channel some of you guys (lol) I got 342 on no7 but included a new lip gloss they have, and used my £5 off voucher and a 400 points coupon for the lip gloss:j :j was quite happy as I made a few other purchases and used a double points coupon too - all together I got £10 in points
I also got till voucher for hair care products, is this where the UG for 9p comes in?

I'm sure I've seen Pond's Cream in Poundland, which incidentally is near my local Boots.
If the kind of Pond's you want can be found for 1.25 at Boots after the coupon, pay the extra 25p to get it there -- it'll likely be much fresher. I've noticed some of the creams and such at Poundland are kind of old with the scent not as strong and the color faded. I got the Boots-branded med body butter at Poundland, and I had the same kind in my med gwp from Boots. So I compared the two, and the ones I got at Poundland were noticeably less vibrant in smell and color, though still fine to use. But on something like face cream (and sunblock for that matter), active ingredients may be less effective if it's a few years old.0 -
thanxs bedshaped for the suggestion, but to be honest l wud much prefer to buy creams from boots then poundland, just for the pure reason my mum has sensitive skin and as skibster pointed out the creams in poundland tend to be slightly dated. wouldnt wanna risk giving my mum dated cream for the sake of 25p:T LLB HONS :T

on a happier note went shopping AGAIN today. got another acm voucher (3rd one) and also found a £2 lyin in the shelfs cryin out to me

:hello: mrsbluebear and welcome
Sounds like you had a good shop yesterday.
I haven't had chance to try the UG glitch yet myself (others have who Im sure will add their views and help) but from what Ive understood you need the till split (which you have) and also an ACM voucher which gives you the product for half price. Apparently the till split works in addition to the half price ACM voucher leaving you with the pricely sum of 9p to pay!!
All I need to do now is get myself a tillsplit and an ACM voucher! :rolleyes:Oh, and actually get time to get to flippin' Boots in the first place.
The photo's help to calm me down somewhat though.Anyone else got some pics?
Oooh meant to ask has anyone got the No 7 Sensitive Eyes mascara and if so is it any good?0 -
hiya all!!
sorry to be a pain - but could someone please let me know exactly which UG products definately 'work' with the 1/2 price + £2 off - ie no till bleeps/sa overide.........thankyouXX0
