!!!!!!! We can only get Connect and that makes it a lot more expensive. Any recommendations for a good, reasonable ISP? Quite fast, but not over the top.

I use IDNet, and I find them to be excellent. It's my experience that when it comes to broadband, you get what you pay for.

if you can't get sky.. have you thought about o2 broadband.. their packages are competitive and even more so if you have a o2 mobile (either PAYG or Contract!)
