Aol to Sky???How easy??

Hi everyone as a newbie this is my first post and i would like your thoughts on changing from AOL to SKY MID.I have been with AOL for about 3 years and it has always been reliable but am thinking of changing to SKY as it works out cheaper and a quicker speed.How easy is it to remove aol's software and install sky?,and how long does it take?.Thanks for you help,time to start saving!

Welcome. You can fully remove the AOL bloatware using decrapifier here. Don't be worried about moving ISP as with modern routers supplied by the ISP's now, there is absolutely no need to load any ISP software on your machine. I have never loaded any ISP software. You will find a lot of info about Sky here.

We have done exactly this last week.......had to get some info from AOL so i went on the online help they do and arranged for them to post it to me.....then rang sky with the required details and they sent me a wireless router out and activated my account a week later, aol automatically got cancelled when it changed....bingo i now have broadband for £5 cheaper a month, and i have arranged for sky to send me bills for my line as its cheaper than BT and have got half price sky for one year, so for broadband, telephone line, and sky tv for £34.....not bad kids are made up we have sky tv again.......

I changed from aol to sky in january the whole process was easy the aol software was easy to uninstall.
i have found sky to be excellent.
