mobile contract internet data

Afternoon all,

My mobile contract is coming to its end and i have realised that i use mobile internet. im looking for a new contract that includes mobile internet, but sidestepping the ridiculuous iphone contracts.

This is primarily for msn/hotmail/facebook/train times but general internet too.

Any thoughts about the cheapest way to do this peeps?

Thanks

    T-Mobile has web'n'walk for £7.50 a month ("unlimited", 1GB FUP)
    O2 has a Web Bolt-on for £7.50 a month ("unlimited", nonspecific FUP)
Vodafone has mobile internet package for £7.50 a month (£5 if you take it for the duration of the contract, 500MB bundle - billed for anything over this)
Three has various packages starting from £5 with 1GB FUP IIRC
    Orange has naff all.

What network/tariff you should go onto really depends on how much you use your phone for texting and calling, and what deal/network you're on now. Can you provide details for us?

im currently on tmobile's flext 35, for £35/month i get £120 of credit for use as texts / calls. This limit is virtually never reached, however im on a 12month free line rental deal (with nokia 6300) from e2save which is holding up very well! only one month to go!

Now im seeing 'free email' adverts from vodaphone too! This is all getting very confusing.

    Thanks

Watch your usage, o2 have a low FUP of 200mb, and unlike T-Mobile will charge per mb that you exceed it by.

At the moment on T-Mob and 3UK have decent limits on their data plans.

Not any more - removed on 1st Feb on contract (still there fore PAYG).
