I'm afraid cheapest means a lotta things in the mobile market, it depends on your usage and if you want paygo or monthly.or not.
The best tarrif deals and phones are had by those taking out contracts not paygo, in the end monthly tarrifs are far superior to paygo.
I pride myself in getting the best phone every year and the best tarrif deal when my yearly contract comes up, and I'm afraid its people who dont do the research who fund the contract tarts like myself who shop for the best deal yearly.
My deal for example is a se 750i with 200 mins & 3000 off peaks for 6 month @ £15 and a £100 credit for my old mobile. Yeah maybe not as good as some of 3's deal, but I gotta have orange for signal reasons! and no naffing around with casbacks either!0 -

What I'm after here is really just advice on the best phone to suit them conditions. I need a phone more because people are contacting me than me contacting them. so i think my needs are more suited to PAYG deals.0 -
Have you tried just looking at https://www.o2.co.uk/nus or even ebay for a good unlocked phone which matches your criteria?has wrote:What I'm after here is really just advice on the best phone to suit them conditions. Belive me m8, i've been looking for months. And the phones i've found are the k700i and the 6230 but they are quite expensive (looking for something round the £60-£70 mark) and contain a lot of features that i probably wont need.
Ebay i'm not that familiar with, plus would prefer a new phone.
I was hoping someone on the forum could help me to find that phone
(but no big deal if not found, thanks to everyone whos tried)0 -
There are a lot of new phones on ebay (they are usually put on by people who get them with a contract but flog the phone and keep their old one (thus giving them a free/very cheap tariff for a year)). However, if you're unsure of ebay I certainly wouldn't recommend buying an expensive item like this as there are many scammers out there at the moment, and it is very easy to get your fingers burnt.has wrote:Ebay i'm not that familiar with, plus would prefer a new phone.
By handsfree do you mean speakerphone? Because most phones can get a handsfree accesory for about £10-15. FM radios are not common in phones and you are severly limiting your choice here. You can get little radios for under £5, so if you a real moneysaver that would probably be the best option.0
