How do I get an MP3 file from PC to mobile?

If both it and your computer have Bluetooth, which you imply, the procedure is extremely simple and will be covered in the manual for your 'phone (which can be downloaded online from the Nokia website if you don't have one.)
I really would try the Bluetooth route first. Unlike a cable, it will cost you nothing, too.

As a result of how you voted in the last three General Elections,
you'd now be better off living in one.

That's the thing, my phone manual is very very basic and doesn't tell me how to do this. This is the first time I have had bluetooth :shhh: I'm not really into phones and my last one was v old lol0 -

look in phone menu for 'connections', bluetooth should be in there. click on it and turn it 'ON'.
now plug the bluetooth dongle into the PC.
now it can be in 2 ways.
1st and easiest is go to the mp3 on your phone and select 'options' 'send via bluetooth' the phone will then scan for devices. when it picks your pc up, click on it and it will send it to the PC.
the 2nd one, right click on the bluetooth icon on the PC ans select 'receive file'
then repeat process as before 'mp3>send via bluetooth'
the only thing that will not allow this is if you set the phone or pc to invisible mode for bluetooth meaning that your device cannot be found.
pretty simple as it should be in main settings on the phone and on the pc within the bluetooth settings.
sounds a little techy but really is simple, like tuning a radio really.
switch on BT>Find Device>Send File.
if youve not got a bluetooth dongle they cost as cheap as £5.
well worth the £5.0 -
(Of course, if you had an Apple Mac you wouldn't need a dongle at all because they have Bluetooth built in as standard.)
Be brave, Lally. It really is much more simple than it sounds, just a question of experimenting a little with the menus.
One thing Billy didn't mention is that when you're through you should then turn off the Bluetooth on your 'phone. If you leave it on, it will drain the 'phone's battery unnecessarily (and quite significantly). There are also security issues involved - you don't want anybody malicious to use Bluetooth to access personal data stored on your 'phone!
Good luck!
PS. Switching on Bluetooth on your PC will enable you to use a cordless Bluetooth keyboard and mouse, as well. These are great.
