I thought that about mammoths too! (bright blue smilie shock horror).

But after my poor swollen feet episode, I got some and with jeans, they look ok (ish - pink embarrassed smilie) and my feet were in bliss all day on Friday (happy yellow smilie).
Luckily, although I moan that I'm getting old, and also have the type of arthritis most common in over 50s, I don't have problems with my feet. I spend most of my life in heels!

But for work I have to stand for long periods of time, so hopefully crocs will mke it all comfy.

I have a pair of mary-jane's which I love the comfiness of, but hate the look of, so only really wear them when I can't be seen!
Because of this I bought a pair of primas, which I liked the look of. I wore them to work, and they totally ripped my feet to shreds! I had bleeding blisters all the way round my feet and my OH had to bring me a pair of flip flops in to work at lunch time, they were that bad. Also found them a but sweaty!

I have now seen the Alice ones, and like the look of them, but there is no point if they are as uncomfy as the primas. Anyone tried them?

Going to check your link - thank you!

My mammoths were great - but - due to environment I work in - the backs of the liners (oatmeal colour I believe) are already black-ish. And that is just one day at work :o Bit peeved to say the least, they are not cheap.......

Re other post - I don't know what the Primas are like. Will try and have a look re above link.

Amazing - I am after the black ones.... all the sites that have them cheaper, do not have them available - especially in a size 5.

So looking at around £38 give or take a few pennies.

    B*mmer

They are not stupid these people. They know the demand and will price accordingly. Rip off as per usual...

  • i wear the plain black prima ones for a 13 and a half hour shift. I don't think they look brilliant but my feet feel great and don't sweat in a 34 degree heat

At the risk of giving medical advice, you are up to date with your tetanus shots, aren't you? At least you are now, hopefully ...
