I have just renewed my contract with 3 and I have been given a Video Pack as part of my renewal.

Can anyone advise me wht the Video Pack actually allows me to have, I assume that it is the ability to send video messages.

Anyone use this and is it a good option?

Thanks for that info and the link but still not sure what it is all about. I have had the facility for a month and noticed no difference with the phone. Do I need to access it or should something be sent to me via the phone? Is there a time limit on it, download limit?

Three offer video packs as compulsory add-ons to subsidise the cost of the phone, thus negating the need to pay upfront for a handset. You can use it or not but you still have to pay for it. You may as well give it a go, the three mobile site will warn you before you are charged for anything.

Spot on rev, the video packs come in varying sizes and costs, which subsidises the handset cost. Although you are "paying" more, these video packs give you video call minutes to the 3 network. E.g. £3 video pack gives you 30 mins, £15 video pack gives you 150 minutes.

You can opt at the start of the contract or at point of upgrade that you do no not want this pack added, but as stated they will then a cost to the handset, generally 18 times the video pack amount, i.e. £5 video pack x 18 months = £90
