Ta, I'm very pleased. Normally manage about £7 or £8 but my Tesco are generally happy scanners so thought I'd chance my luck and see what happens as there are some good coupons around at the mo.

Couldn't get onto the forum for some reason last night so just read the rest of yesterdays thread
Cassey - congratulations, you get the benefit of a new job without the hassels of starting work somewhere else and having to learn the ins and outs. When do you start on you enhanced salary?
Andan - I'm thinking maybe you can have the OH for a bit. He did good during the day yesterday with the cleaning and cooking, but then proceeded to reward himself with most of a bottle of rum and passed out on the spare bed upstairs but left the mobile with the alarm in our room!! Do you still want him? He is getting better at the money saving thing, usually laughs at me when I find things off this site and makes fun of me to our friends but then does take it on board with the cooking, and changing mobile contracts and shopping etc. So I think I'll keep him for a bit yet!
Today I'm going to try to be super productive and
- do surveys (done, none to do)
- not spend anything during the day - store cupboard lunch etc
- chop and freeze any veg that I can so that it doesn't go bad
- sort out sky (live in a shared house so it's between 5 people and we NEED it!)
- cancel my australian medical insurance and get refund for overpayments
- organise financial paperwork and try to organise last years tax
- show 2 people the room upstairs that we need to rent and hopefully one of them wants to move in
- read the food waste challenge thread from the beginning
- enter competitions
- make my way down to friends house later becuase we are doing the london to brighton cycle tomorrow - we are going to take them out for a carb loading dinner tonight becuase she is driving his work van down to brighton to pick us up (and work is even paying for fuel) - so that should be the only spend for the day!
Other than that, enjoy the fact that it is a weekend, hope everyone else is doing the same!

Aussie
I have a lot of good ones at the minute. One was a £6 clothing file one, then Eve and Instyle magazine ones were £2.40 each, a couple of high value couponet ones, a huggies one, and some low value internet ones for a bit of variety, and so one.
My Tesco are generally VERY good at taking coupons though. :j Long may it continue!

There are quite a few survey sites, a couple of years ago I signed up for everything going whle off work for a bit but now only do the ones that actually pay you for them. Have only started doing them properly again a few weeks ago but still have points left in the accounts so can't tell you how much I make on them. Usually about £1 a survey and then you can redeem when you get to £5, £10 or £20 depending on the site. Some pay cash but most pay vouchers.
Here is a part of Martin's Boost your income article:
"Online market research.- You can get paid cash to take part in online surveys, which are often short enough to fill in during breaks at work. Try ValuedOpinions, Pure Profile, Pinecone Research, Lightspeed Panel and Toluna.
How much? Some surveys can pay £1 to £3 for just a couple of minutes of your time.
Find out more: Join the discussion and read other MoneySavers' top suggestions or add your own in the Online market research thread. "
Just make sure that you set up a separate email address for any junk that comes through - but I think these ones are actually pretty good.
Hope that helps!

Thanks Aussie. Much appreciated.
I am a stay at home mum so I should be able to find the time to do a few of these. even if it's only a fiver, it helps
I also have some tightlacing corsets that are too small for me (sob) that are brand new and cost me hundreds. Going to list those on Ebay, this weekend. I'll be sad to see them go, but not sad to see the money pay off the visa
Proud to be dealing with my debts :T
