Hello
I've just received my CCPlus and was wondering if it was possible to do this:-
I'm setting up a DD of about £200 per month to start with (couldn't calculate petrol costs per month) and I was toying with the idea of going into the store at the start of every month and using the CCPlus to buy £200 worth of normal gift cards in £20 denominations. So, in theory I should get 400 points just by doing this. I'll use the gift cards for my shopping then, so I should get normal points spend on these too, plus any extra points that I then buy in store during my normal spend. I'm quite nervous of going over my £200 spend on the CCPlus so I should be able to avoid this by going down the voucher route with the added bonus of more points. Is this do-able?
Thanks!0 -
no points are given on the gift card purchases. only given when they are spent.0

Just noticed that hubbys triple points on tesco mobile top ups haven't been going on. I got him to ring up & question it, but the phone op said there were no triple points, went & checked with someone else, and they confirmed it.
However...just quadruple checked the website- and lo & behold, there should be.
The question, who do we get on to now?the truth is out there ... on these pages !!0 -
Also, does anyone know if i can't find my clubcard ANYWHERE, do i have to wait till a new one comes through before i can use my vouchers, or can i confirm my name and address etc with customer services and still use them without my clubcard present??

If I make an order on the internet for collection at the local store, when are the points added?
Bit scared of the promotion ending if I collect too far away and then getting no points.
I take it card is debited only on collection and not when you place the order?0 -

Afraid not! Tesco are currently in the habit of publishing an end date for points promotions and are ending them early. Kind of underhanded if you ask me, particularly if you do an on-line order in the belief that the promo is still on by the time the order is delivered.Mortgage Free Wannabe
