Sounds really complicated, and on top of the fact you have to pay full brochure price to use the tokens then I think i'll use the tokens on something else!0 -
Wanted to know how many use the 4x Rewards -or do most here simply use as face value at store?
I ask as i can't decide - getting 4x value is very nice - trouble is most day outs in rip off Britain are, well,..... a rip off. With 4 kids it will cost me about £45 for a day out - or do i use those £11.25 of tokens instead to get money of groceries?0 -

4 of us going to Lightwater Valley this week. £62 for a family ticket. That's £15 worth of deals tokens and £2 cash. Most of the tokens are a result of recycled ink cartridges which I acquired free:D
It'll cost more for petrol to get there!or do i use those £11.25 of tokens instead to get money of groceries?
Most of the deals aren't as good value as Tesco claim, but still better value for money than using them in store.0 -
The deals might be better value for money but are only money saving if you were going to buy the deal anyway. If not you might be better off buying groceries rather than looking for something you don't need amongst the deals.0

I use points to buy RAC membership each year, we'd be buying it anyway. All spares are converted to Airmiles, and used towards flights or carhire for our USA trip which we do every two years. Wouldn't dream of spending them instore as I'd spend the money on these two things anyway.ilovefreegle.org - give it away don't throw it away0

im sure most people could find a deal that would be useful to them - ie instead of using them to buy food in tescos, change them into restaurant vouchers - you couldnt create much of a meal with £5 of food from tesco, but you could have a nice meal out with £20 of deals tokens
Personally, i find there are lots of deals that i can use, and more often than not, use then to my advantage, and plan my entertainment around them. ie i paid for daughters birthday party, by changing them into deals tokens for Tenpin, so whereas this would have set me back £100 in cash, she got a decent party for £25 of deals. We wanted a day out in london, so looked at what deals could be used there, and changed vouchers accordingly, so we got to go on the London, Eye, visit the aquarium, madam tussards and the london dungeon - this cost me about £100 in vouchers, but would have cost me £500 if id paid in cash

The point is, it has not cost you £45. You either have a free day out for the family or £11.25 of your shopping.Thank you all who post.0 -
I went to use my 'double up vouchers' to buy a pushchair in the Baby & Toddler section. Tesco have categorised them as Health & Beauty!!!*** Consequently doesn't qualify for using 'double up'. Grrrrrr I'm furious, what does a childs buggy have to do with Health & Beauty, that's no different to saying it's Fruit & Veg. Illogical.
Awaiting a response to my complaints email, particularly as the pushchairs are located in with the baby stuff, sandwiched between 2 'double up' signs, not with the vitamins and makeup.
Store manager simply wouldn't budge - claimed pushchairs have "always been in the Health & Beauty category".0 -
Having just booked the cheap Scooby Doo tickets I thought I would order some Bella Italia vouchers using CC vouchers however it looks like the kids menu comprises solely of a set menu. Does this mean I can't use the vouchers for them?0
