yes they charge more, but it depends on how 'cash rich' you are. £100 in cash is the same as using £25 of vouchers, so you have to decide if the room actually costs £100 for cash, but if using vouchers the room costs £120, then you would need to convert £30 of vouchers.

Its up to you to decide whether paying £30 in vouchers for your room is such a bad deal, compared to spending £100 in cash

Personally, £30 of vouchers for a hotel room, seems a much better deal than using £100 cash

You should be able to use them but that would be the worst thing you could do if there are some clubcard deals you could use them for instead for 'up to' 4x their value. Read my previous post and other peoples on this thread. Last resort if you can't use them yourself is to change them into Deals Vouchers and sell them on eBay.
If at first you don't succeed, try, try, try - oh bu99er that just cheat :D

  • Hi Everyone. I didn't feel it necessary to create a seperate thread and I really hope that this could be answered here.

I got my clubcard statement a few days ago and it left me around 40 points carried over. I went to do my shopping today and my statement says over 300 points are now on my clubcard. My friend looked at his and almost the same increase has gone onto his card also.

I can't think of why this has happened and am not aware of any promotion. Is there any way I can check what the points were for? I looked on the tesco clubcard website but it would only give me a total.

    Thanks

The vouchers you got in your statement were for points accrued until the 25th January. The 300 points you have currently will be the amount you have earned since that date.

Thanks Kate, I am more interested to know how I have accumulated that many points as Ive not shopped in Tesco. I have a feeling that it may be some promotion but I am not sure. I thought that maybe someone else had been credited points for a Tesco promotion recently.

    Thanks anyway.

Are you a member of Mum's Choice? Perhaps they are points from the surverys?
I am still waiting for mine.......... I think :o
There was nothing about it detailed on my Statement, so I assume they are yet to be credited. Can anyone confirm that you get notified on your Statement about the credit of Mum's Choice Points please?

    TIA xxx
  • I got a whole load of green Clubcard points and points from Tesco Personal Finance added after the cut-off date so I started this quarter with 600 points!
