  • You get sent vouchers in the post every 3 months. These last for 2 years. You then go to the Tesco web site and go to rewards & see what you want to spend your vouchers on and order your specific vouchers, e.g days out voucher from there. (I hope this is right - I have been collecting my vouchers for over a year but never actually spent anything yet!) Oh and 4 times the value is the absolute maximim you will get - it is often 2 or 3 times the actual value. HTH.

  • hiya,

  • Hi,

Does anyone know if Tesco will be bringing back there double up on wine offer they had last year. I am getting married in May and we're going down the corkage and own wine route for the wedding. We've saved up our vouchers for a while in the hope of using them for Tesco wine but at the moment their offers don't seem that great and am thinking a wine warehouse may be better?

Also, are discount vouchers etc valid for tesco wine?

    Thanks in advance
  • Hi bobbyday, congratulations first of all - i'm getting married in may too! It's very unlikely especially at the moment that Tesco will be doing the double up promotion again as they've currently got double points anyway. Are you a member of the wine club? There's usually quite good money off vouchers and extra points codes for that :D

Hope this is in the right place. Chances are it's not, but I can't work out where else to put it.

I went shopping in Tesco at the weekend, and used LOADS of my own bags. The checkout assistant asked how many we'd used when we'd finished packing, and I told her three large bags (all Tesco branded) and six small.

She said that all bags were now awarded one point, regardless of size.

I pointed out that on the outside of two of the bags it actually said that if you used the bag, you'd get three green points, and she muttered under her breath and gave us more than the nine points she'd originally intended to.

Has anyone else been told this regarding reuseable bags and if so, does the printed information on the outside of the bags not count for anything now?

bobbyday - I did the same for our wedding and we got ours from Bookers though that was more due to wanting a specific wine and we couldn't find it anywhere else. But it might be worth a try.

Hootie19 - The brief that went out to managers, and then down to staff, was that it is one point for every bag used unless it states otherwise on a Tesco bag. So the member of staff should have checked what type of bags you used. If it had been me you would have got at least 20 points. I give 10 to people just for having to wait too long, might not be right but it gives something back for having to wait.

  • hi

Thanks for the responses. I have signed up for the wine club so hopefully some vouchers will be sent in time. I also had a look at Bookers but we're specifically after vegetarian wine and none of Bookers listings suggested whether it was or not, so it looks like Tesco is the cheapest way to go. Seems to be the cheapest in bulk. None of the wine warehouses seem to do less than £3.50/ bottle on bult orders as opposed to Tesco cases

Am also hoping that M&S get their offer on sparkling stuff back on (2 for £10 or even better, the 6 for £18 they had before christmas!!). The cava was reasonable, but more importantly, cheap!!
