No upset - I just didn't want to take the credit when Direct Telecom had already been mentioned.

The main thing on comparing providers is whether they include the 16% IVA (like VAT) on the prices as this distorts the results.

The other thing to bear in mind is that Telefonica charge an access fee to dial 902 numbers.

One of the things I discovered in the Babelfish and Google search was a survey that counted Spain the 2nd most expensive (after Portugal) of about 10 European countries for international calls, so there probably aren't any cheaper options than those found so far.

My mother in law has the old tariff equivalent that Telefonica did a few yeasr back of a 450 minuts to .llandllines in Europe for €15 per month. I think she got hers from Retevision but I am not sure. Of course you need to use up the 15 minutes a day (off peak only) but that has never been an issue! I am not sure if this is still available.
