    PMSL I said to DD (4) a few weeks ago that her socks were too small now, she said "Mummy, we should put them on ebay!" pmsl

    Aww, cleosmum, thats a classic, you'll have her well trained in all forms of money saving and making in no time. I wish my family would take note, not even my partner will get into any of this money saving, i go on about it enthusiastically but they still can't see the light!

    Thanks, not posted up to tonight as it has taken me two weeks to get my head round it all:confused: must be doing something right though as the weight is coming off:D

    The younger men in my life 'get' the bargain hunting/money saving more than the older one. I just sent OH to the shops for chocolate, he came back with what I asked for, plus the 4 bars on offer, so I checked with DS, and sure enough he confirmed that the correct route was to bypass my requested choc, in favour of something included in an offer :rotfl:. Still, its a step in the right direction, he did actually buy the stuff on offer, 6 months ago it wouldnt have occured to him :rolleyes:
