can anyone recommend the cheapest unlimited dial-up isp available?
I see ukonline have a dial up service for £6.99 for the first 3 months - would this be any good or is there better to be found?

seems ok - though if you know roughly how much time you roughly spend online each month, you may want to head to zazizam - their rates start from £2.99 a month (including phone option). I know its not stricted unlimited - but it is up to your monthly usage - making it fairer for all. Obviously, the more time you require, the more it will cost. They do have some nice steps of about 50 hours between each package. I can recommend them for dialup - have some mates that still haven't yet been able to upgrade to broadband that use them, and use them
If your looking for an introductory offer - BT Yahoo have first month for £1, then £15.99 - but i think it is restricted to 150hpm0 -
I was using tesconet until 3 months ago when I got broadband from Tiscali. This was 11.99 pm whereas Tiscali broadband is £14.99 pm. However, Im saving the difference because I now have free weekend calls to landlines and 5p for an hour evening calls. Well worth another £3 I thought.Annual Grocery budget 2018 is £1500 pa £125 calendar month £28.84 pw for 3 adults0

Are they any good. Happy with btyahoo surftime now but am paying £14 which I think is too much as I am not a heavy user. Is the £6.99, the only amount I need to pay for internet usuage a month? Do I need to still pay bt for the line as an ISP. As it is now, I pay bt as my internet provider and then pay a subscription for btsurftime. At the moment I am paying £10.50 rental for the use of the phone? Thanks0 -
£6-99 a month is all you need to pay for unlimited access.
I`ve been with Fast 4 for two years and find them OK.
You still need a BT line for the dial-up.0 -
If you make very heavy use of the Internet Fast4 might close your account without warning as they did with mine. Low to medium use and they should be fine.0

I use fast4.net and I still pay the promotional rate of £5 .
points to remember
1 you are not SUPPOSE to use an auto dialler . you can be disconnected for using one .
2 if you want to disconnect you must give 28 days notice in writing .
Also I THINK I am correct in saying they take a payment every 30 days , not monthly .
however if I am wrong I am sure I will be corrected on here .0 -
This is worth a read too:

My parents have been with fast4 for 8 months now and they rarely have problems with it."There are no pockets in a shroud..."0
