No Swiftcover post them out as well. Had one last year through the post from them.

Downloaded ones are not accepted to tax (unless you've fooled the Post Office with a good print quality!).

I've had 3 different policies with swiftcover and never received a posted copy of my documents. I have taxed two cars at different post offices with policies i had printed off at home. No problems and no questions asked.

    ok
I tried swiftcover, and it was cheaper as they allow both my cars to benefit from my no claims bonus.
But now I need to cancel my Privilege for the new car and I bet they'll charge me an admin fee. But I'll try and argue that they shouldn't as they have let me down by not sending faxes they said they had (well, I never received them) and as they took too long to get the certificate out.

I have printed the swiftcover certs on our printer and they look pretty good... fingers crossed the PO should take them in the morning and I'll get my new car!!!

    thanks for the advice

A swift cover home printed certificate is acceptable but a fax, copy, scan of any other certificate will not be accepted. The post office deal with millions of tax disc sales a year and will not be fooled by a copy or scan unless it is an exceptionally good one.

Don't you believe it, sorry not wanting to argue but they cannot tell.

    Been there, done that.
I like the thanks button, but ,please, an I agree button.

Will the grammar and spelling police respect I do make grammatical errors, and have carp spelling, no need to remind me.;)
