18 months ago they were a half-decent company. Now they are a different kettle of fish.
I'd just like to agree with this. 2 or 3 years ago now I had a cashback contract with OSPS, paid out without a hitch. My subsequent cashback contracts with various places became more and more problematic to the point where I now will not touch the things.
  • Good and Bad everywhere (obviously people only shout when things go wrong).. Myself, friends & family have used OSPS without a hitch..

    just my 2p!

As I've said many times; famous last words! There is now an army of previously faithful users of this company (and more especially E2Save which is now the same) who have changed their minds in recent times. As for the who; Mobiles2yourdoor is a much safer bet now. However, as I also always say - those who don't do their research thoroughly and understand it inside out best steer clear of ANY cashback deal.

    nearly 1 year on.
would just like to add, i got 0p cashback in the end :T. as many on here know, the whole thing is a big scam.

despite me doing a lot of reading before hand, doing everythnig exactly right. my first cashback got declined, then i never bothered after that

i know i could've threatened to sue, sent LBA whatever etc, but i seriously couldnt be bothered. i just learnt my lesson and will never touch them or simliar companies or deals ever again.

im just glad the people i told about the offer didn't take it up as well, otherwise i'd be feeling guilty too.

would just like to add ive done a fair bit of reading on here about e2save and osps etc, but this was after i placed the order and by then it was too late.

    anyways, adios.

edit: the only slight positive was that it did track correctly and i got my £38 cashback from topcashback.com

Sorry to hear that - but curious how or why you didnt get cashback - was there reason like you missing dates or something or them not honouring or paying?

    Hi,

well i had ported my number to the new contract, so as instructed by them i sent the first bill (with the original 'temporary' mobile number), plus the month 6 bill (with my ported number on) as they requested.

now i had different bits of info from them about which bill to send as we know is common to confuse people. i am above average intelligence, but i still dont understand it, lol
As we know 'month 6' bill is open to different interpretations.

so i sent the first bill plus the bill i thought was correct. I sent it special delivery with consequential loss insurance.

they replied back with 2 letters saying i had send incorrect bills for both.

i sent the first bill to show my original number as requested you numwitts.

i knew they were in the wrong but i just couldnt be bothered with it all.

My last phone contract was with onestopphoneshop and I never had any probems whatsoever getting my cashback. The payments were all recieved within 28 days of sending in claimform.

and I just realised this is an old thread

edit : I also got payment through quidco so overall my phone cost me zilch for a year, thats the cost of the phone, line rental and ive just flogged my phone for £37 !
