Call Diverting

Dear All,
I'm afraid the saga continues.
Having received two calls over the weekend telling me that the Call Divert message had been removed, it is still in place and the order was cancelled.
I am on the phone to BT now, and 33 minutes later, I'm waiting to speak to one of the Managers because I am now told they will not remove the message.
There must be an easier way to do something so simple????????????0 -
Yes, there is - the Primus Saver/Penny Mobile 2 CPS choice (Post #7).
PM me you email address and I'll send you (pdf) details.Time has moved on (much quicker than it used to - or so it seems at my age) and my previous advice on residential telephony has been or is now gradually being overtaken by changes in the retail market. Hence, I have now deleted links to my previous 'pearls of wisdom'. I sincerely hope they helped save some of you money.0 -

Yes, Primus Saver 2 with Penny Mobile add-on.
Hmm, seems some people need telling several times. It's PAC not PAC Code, it's MAC not MAC Code, it's PIN not PIN Number, it's ATM not ATM Machine, it's LCD not LCD Display, it's DVD not DVD disc... It's no one not noone, It's a lot not alot, It's got not gotten... Panini is the plural of panino - there is no S!!(OK my English isn't great, the sciences, maths & IT are my strong points!)0 -
I've been through this with BT too.
It is BT who control the message, even if you calls are with a CPS service - if you have normal call divert from BT then the announcement will be there. You need 'call divert no announcement service'. You just have to keep asking BT - eventually they'll get it on the line.
The announcement is only ever played if you have a 'no answer' divert - so if you set an instant divert using the *21* code - the caller will not get an annoucement.
Even with no announcement, when using call divert on no answer the phone rings for 6 rings, then goes silent for around 4 seconds before ringing your mobile - this can confuse people too.
You're probably best setting a *21* instant divert... Also as it's been said the Penny Mobile Plan from Primus will be a good idea for cost saving purposes.0
