I only watch it for that hunky Plymouth auctioneer. I'm quite disappointed if there is nothing in Cornwall or Devon on that day :o .
I've not really noticed. I'll look now!

There is one woman who values the houses sometimes: Marijke. I used to work with her. Lovely she was. It's always a surprise when somebody you work with pops up on TV.

Strangely enough, she's popping up on those programmes and the twin sister of somebody else I worked with at the same company used to pop up in those makeover programmes. Debra Veal http://www.cmmol.net/debra_veal.htm - I worked with Debra's sister while she was doing her Atlantic challenge, which is what made her "famous". Her sister would rush out of the office about once a week when her sister phoned her from mid-Atlantic as she was doing her sole Atlantic rowing challenge, phoning her from the tiny boat.

I'm a relatively posh bird - and we have 1 TV, circa 1990. Works fine!
No, that just makes you tighter than me!

    :)

    You're posh though.

People call me posh when they hear me speak, but I'm poor.

    Being poor sucks.

We don't have that, luckily, as we've only got the basic channels!
I got a £12 2nd hand Freeview box for Xmas.
    Bargain.

I could mention family/royal associations here, but it's not appropriate.

But a close relative did end her days living IN the palace of the Spanish royal family recently. And was in their inner circle.

Still makes me poor. Which still sucks.

My Dad is on the TV and radio from time to time, giving his expert opinion on something or other, and I find it really odd!

What annoys me about presenters showing potential buyers round TV properties (whether it's Location, Location or Homes in the Sun) is that they go into the room BEFORE the viewers.

Any fool knows you get the viewers to go in first because that makes the room look bigger!

Kids of celebrities think everybody's daddy is on the TV.

There is no way my Dad is a celebrity, though, he's not on TV because of being in Big Brother / shagging some bimbo / falling out of clubs drunk. He's more the Newsnight / Law in Action kinda chap!

Sorry PN, much as I love you, with your STR fund I'm not buying the "I'm poor" thang!
