Internet for PS3

I am clueless but hope someone here can help. My sister has a PS3 and would like to hook it up to the internet. What would be the cheapest (but decent) way? She doesn't have a BT phoneline. I was thinking she may be best getting Sky. Anyone care to tell me otherwise?

If your sister doesn't live in a Virgin Media area, she will need to get a BT landline (any Telco can set one up for you, if they choose to - but some don't)... if she wants to have Sky, she will need a BT line installed.0

Thanks for your reply. She doesn't live in a Virgin Media area. I just thought that for the price of broadband she may as well get Sky and their free broadband. Although it's been a while since I looked at broadband prices so maybe it's cheaper now. I will have a look.OD Girls On TourBarcelona 2008 - Dublin 20090
