Hi all, Thanks OliveOyl for the recommendation of the food waste challenge. Was trying to cut down on food waste so have done a meal plan for the next 2 weeks and will also keep a record of all food thrown away to scare myself! We'll see how we go!!
Today I have
- cycled to work again (4th day in a row but not cycling tomorrow cos we're doing the London to Brighton on Sunday and want a couple of days off the bike!)
- only spent £1.50 on lunch
- done surveys (but got screened out of all of them!)
- dinner as planned from stuff in fridge
- tesco delivery with everything for planned meals arriving tonight - used £5 off voucher from the voucher thread
- ordered hayfever stuff online as recommended in Martins article - it's mindboggling just how much I think I've saved!!! Thanks Martin
And I will
- do as many competitions as I can
- try to read some of the food waste thread to get some tips!
- do my pilates (for free on my bedroom floor)
Think that's about it!
Hope everyone is having a great evening

Aussie, i try and meal plan but it doesn't work for me, i always end up wanting something different. I love my food, so i'll be damned if i'm going to sit and eat something that i don't really fancy at that particular point in time. Perhaps thats why i'm doing so bad with the challenge!!
Well, i have been doing this online free bingo for hours now and no win here, thank goodness its free!:j Live on £4500, £2531/£4500:T 101 in 1001 (52/101):j:beer::j

Cassey, I'll add my good luck for the interview, just try to relax and as long as you do your best you'll get the job if it's the right one for you!!
Andan, we're pretty relaxed about our meal planning, got a list of 7 meals that we have the stuff to make and then just decide which one we'll pull out of the freezer (or which one the ingredients are about to go off in the fridge and we have to eat!!). Only done it a couple of times but it seems to work for us!Moved back to Australia March 2010
