HTC TYTN 2 vs Blackberry 8320 query

Hi
I'm on a 7 day phone trial with Orange using an HTC TYTN 2 handset and although I was really excited to get the phone now that I have it I'm quite disappointed. The basic features such as phone quality and loudspeaker clarity are really quite poor. Don't get me wrong, the phone can sing and dance but I really need it to do the basic first and the fancy bits later. I was thinking about returning the phone and swapping it for a Blackberry Curve 8320. Has anyone had a similar experience with the HTC phone and opted for a Blackberry instead?
Feedback would be much appreciated - cheers in advance!!

I got a HTC TyTN II from Orange last month and am loving it. If you want to vastly improve your phone you should debrand and unlock it (can be done freely) as the Orange firmware is quite cluttered. But not if you planning to return the phone.0

How do you do that?Even if you are a minority of one, the truth is the truth.0 -

I would not go for any of the new diamond based roms. I put put a diamon rom on my tytn 2 at the weekend but it slowed GPS fix to 10 minutes in tomtom. Soon went back to an old WM6.1 ROM and a radio ROM that works well for me.0 -
ive received my new 8310 - my partner tells me its waiting for me at home - so i cant wait to get my paws on it!!!!0
