Thanks folks, good to know I'm not the only one. I use this version because I got a new laptop 6 months ago, and it was already installed. I use Word 2003 at work, no problems. I would try the help button, ( if I can find it Ha ha) I'm also still undecided about Vista. Why cant they just leave us in the 20th century. I was happy then LOL

I'm going to downgrade your laptop to DOS and then see how you get on (at least that's still late 20th century). :D

Took me a bit to get used to the ribbon interface but just like getting used to any new interface. But I really like it now and almost wish every app had ribbons, well all the ones with thousands of menus. Makes you realise how cumbersome the old menu system was getting with all the added features and options over time. This is a much more efficient way of dealing with that.

Word 2007 is difficult to get to grips with for users who are familiar with previous versions, but it is supposed to be more intuitive for new users. I like it now, but it has taken me a year. Stick with it, you'll get there in the end!
