Does anyone have any advise for drivers getting back on the road after being disqualified and what insurance companies are best to use? Are there any loopholes eg. buying a car abroad and getting insured there?

Use the comparison sites to get a ball park figure then do a search on this forum for brokers who specialise in disqualified drivers.
If it was a ban for DD, expect a fair hike in premiums. I don't think there are any legal loopholes to insure outside of the UK and keep it here on a permanent basis with a non-UK policy.0 -
