Rightmove frustrates me only with some very slow page-loading times.

Sometimes RM is very fast, other times very slow. I've gone about blocking the google-analytics urchin (noscript plugin with firefox) but still slow.

And 7 minutes on, it's still bloomin' loading. I'm determined to see how long it does take....

Until it's finished, I don't get anywhere near these "other features".

Yes, I am sometimes sat waiting for RM to finish loading. Annoying when I am just scanning through, randomly, more adding to property-bee than doing anything meaningful.

    7 minutes!

I switch to another browser to do something else if a RM page has still not loaded after 5 or 10 seconds, and when it's slow at times I'm thinking sometimes 30 seconds.

I'm wondering if it's your ISP? You could test if it works faster through an anonymous proxy such as www.hidemyass.com

Although I've checked and whilst you can access RM through it, and is currently loading RM pages quickly for me, it doesn't let the Property Bee plugin work.

18 minutes in ..... looks like this will end up taking half an hour on Globrix.

This is Globrix more than RM
RM is never that slow. Just sometimes 20 seconds to load.

I do have a slow connection. Virgin Media broadband (not cable). Often measures at 0.1Mbps. Barstewards.

Right. Giving up with Globrix. Tried it 6 times in the past and always found it rubbish. Gave it another go tonight and still the same problems.

    So it's pants.
    Utter unusable pants.
    Poo poo.

24 minutes and it's still "loading". And it's seizing control of my PC, making switching between windows slow now and my HD/fan are whirring. So b00gah it. Eh!

    It's had its chance.

Must admit I've never had a problem with it... the right/white candy coloured barbers pole thingy never takes more than 2 or 3 seconds. Maybe I'm just lucky!

That's the beast. The barber pole.
I'm wondering what's behind the scenes. Maybe it's just not browser compatible with my little geeky Maxthon IE-derivative.

Just tried it in Firefox (I only use FF for PBee)

Ah ... less than 1 second of barber pole.

Maybe time to dump my good and trusty browser.... which unfortunately has lots of my passwords for the 400 sites I need to visit all embedded in it. Could take me 1-2 days to get all that updated in a new browser.
